Every massage is tailored to the individual; I incorporate a variety of techniques and modalities, and adjust the pressure based on your preference. I typically use a combination of Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, and Triggerpoint Therapy as my core modalities, and add in other things like stretching and Accupressure as needed.
This is a great length of time for a basic full body massage, or for focused work on a few trouble spots.
This is the preferred length of time for the majority of clients. If you don't receive regular massages, or have several areas that require a little more attention, then 90 minutes is the ideal length massage.
This length of time is great if you want a full body massage massage with multiple areas of extra focus, or just really, really need to relax.
An enhancement involves the use of additional products or equipment, and can be added to any massage. I don't usually carry these extras with me, so I'll need advance notice if you would like to add anything to your session.
Add an essential oil to your massage.
Cupping is an amazing addition to any massage, but it is especially helpful when dealing with chronic tension, old injuries, or scar tissue. The "cups" are made of medical grade silicone and are used to create a suction that helps to stretch and release tight muscle and fascia.
Pregnancy brings with it all sorts of new aches and pains, and massage can help! Prenatal massage is performed with the client side-lying and supported with extra pillows, and pressure is kept in the light to medium range. Massage is not recommended until after the end of the first trimester, and most essential oils are contraindicated.
